Simon says: Mine

Always buy anything by Cherise Sinclair as I always love the characters in her books. I also like the way she always continues to bring them into other books along the way as she continues the series. This is a great story about Rona and Simon and their love story. Simon realizes right away that Rona is the sub for him. Simon and Rona are both more mature individuals than many of those playing at their club. Simon realizes he wants someone who can share his views and interests in a more mature manner. He falls for Rona almost immediately, however Rona is recently just out of a marriage that was very boring in all ways and decides it is because she needs variety in men even though she is very attracted to Simon. Knowing this Simon has to find a way to make Rona see that he is the one and only Dom for her. Recommend and I also recommend the rest of the series as well. Her characters always intermingle in other books.

I love these Dominant men and their subs! I'm so into this series. Not even one of these Doms would be unwelcome by me. The attention, care and love they bestow on the sub makes me so very jealous. On to the next one.

I loved this book. Being able to read about a mature Dom & sub's story is really nice. Ms. Sinclair definitely knows how to write a sensual, sexy story. Her characters are well thought out. They seem so real.

About the Author
Franz Kafka was born to Jewish parents in Bohemia in 1883. Kafka s father was a luxury goods retailer who worked long hours and as a result never became close with his son. Kafka s relationship with his father greatly influenced his later writing and directly informed his Brief an den Vater (Letter to His Father). Kafka had a thorough education and was fluent in both German and Czech. As a young man, he was hired to work at an insurance company where he was quickly promoted despite his desire to devote his time to writing rather than insurance. Over the course of his life, Kafka wrote a great number of stories, letters, and essays, but burned the majority of his work before his death and requested that his friend Max Brod burn the rest. Brod, however, did not fulfill this request and published many of the works in the years following Kafka s death of tuberculosis in 1924. Thus, most of Kafka s works were published posthumously, and he did not live to see them recognized as some of the most important examples of literature of the twentieth century. Kafka s works are considered among the most significant pieces of existentialist writing, and he is remembered for his poignant depictions of internal conflicts with alienation and oppression. Some of Kafka s most famous works include The Metamorphosis, The Trial and The Castle.

and in this case that is a good thing! If he had written detective novels

A classic for a reason. Kafka's writing style reminds me a little bit of the Russians, and in this case that is a good thing! If he had written detective novels, I'm convinced he would have been one of the greatest such authors of all time - and a whole lot more popular besides. Instead, he chose to write about more powerful and perhaps important themes. The Metamorphosis will make you think about compassion, morality, and how we treat our fellow man.

The ideas behind Somatic Coaching remain elusive

I thought the overall concept of Somatic Coaching was good, to the level I could understand the desciption in this book. The stories were good reading. However, when the book turned to make a fundamental description of Somatic Coaching, the academic, stilted writing style kept comprehension just slightly out of reach. The editor should have used more red pen. And leaving out a description of the Bodyworks, which the book says is integral to Somatic Coaching, meant the book could not fully describe its subject matter. Overall, the book gave me a foggy notion of what Somatic Coaching is about, nothing more.

Disappointing

It takes half the book exposing his personal philosophy; neglects to acknowledge other well known methods and to distinguish how somatic coaching is different. Neglects to acknowledge well known sport coaches who practice whole body techniques. Once it starts to explore "the methodology" it reverts back to proselytizing. I know the basis of his work has merit but I could not figure out (because he doesn't explain) how it is different from the techniques use by an Alexander technique coach or practitioners of the techniques created by Peter Levine.

Really disappointing. Lacking in substantive content. More like an extended advertisement for the workshops.
I read the case studies, and hoped for a cogent theory about the method.
The glowing reviews must be from people who took the workshop.
